Sipping & Sharing ~ Notes from Spring Wine Fest 2010

Spring Wine Fest 2010

This place is packed tonight from 6pm to 10pm. The DJ is pumping tunes, tables have been pushed aside, wine is still flowing…no one is complaining.

I’m wondering if Hello Vino should throw a coast to coast event. Hmmmm. So what’s being poured her tonight?

Rufino (Italy)
Pinot Grigio - very fragrant, medium body Kim Crawford (New Zealand)
09 Sauvignon Blanv - aromatic, passion fruit and a goose of gooseberry

Jelu (Argentina)
Torrontes - delicate, white peach and honeysuckle blossom Genesis (Washington State)
Meritage - full flavored, pure fruit

Robert Mondavi (California)
PS Cabernet Sauvignon - black cherry bomb Gruner Veltiner Wachau - Dug this one. Mineral nose, subtle herbs, good white wine

…and many more. Many thanks to Jeff Popkin and Boston Event Guide for inviting us and letting us set up shop!

Cheers!

- Jim from Hello Vino
