As many of you know, we now include wine reviews in the free Hello Vino app. We are extremely excited to collaborate with a talented group of writers that include Certified Specialists of Wine (CSW), Certified Wine Educators (CWE), and sommeliers certified by the Master Court of Sommeliers. Over the next few weeks, we will profiling each contributing wine writer beyond the third screen so you can learn more about the author.Introducing: Thea Dwelle a.k.a. @winebratsf
Thea is a a software jockey by day, although she does it without code and presently without a paycheck. By night, Thea is a Wine Brat who seeks to try new wines and expand her palate by drinking as much good wine as possible.
What we love is that Thea’s blog is “a conversation, not a dictatorship.” This is great because wine is social, so talk it up people! Thea then remarks:
“That being said, my blog is MY BLOG. It is not your blog.”
(Remember, she’s a brat).
What Thea writes about may not be what you write about. You may not agree with what she decided to focus on…and that’s ok! The whole point of lusciouslushes.com is to have a conversation.
LusciousLushes.com was born out of Thea’s love of all things wine, and her desire to share information with other people. For almost a year, Thea had a mailing list that she would send out monthly event emails to, which included great wines she discovered, as well as upcoming wine events in the bay area. Discovery and events are the primary focus of the blog, however, more and more effort is spent learning and discussing information about new wines, as well as the impact of social media on the wine industry. We are excited to have Thea / @winebratsf involved with our wine reviews. Be sure to check out her latest posts within the free Hello Vino app, and on her blog on lusciouslushes.comCheers!
